Training/ Professional Development
Training and developing the next generation of research leaders (also known as “capacity building”) among clinicians, scientists, nurses, midwives and allied professionals (NMAPs) is a key part of the NIHR Cambridge BRC strategy.
We are committed to supporting researchers across the whole of the academic career development pathway.
Working with our affiliated partners, including the University of Cambridge, Cambridge University Hospitals, Cambridge Academic Training Office (CATO), Royal Papworth Hospital, University of East Anglia and Anglia Ruskin University, we aim to attract, train and support researchers in experimental medicine and early translational research methodology and promote the ethos of scientific excellence and inclusive research practice.
