HR and Research Passports
The R&D Department has its own dedicated HR team to support all researchers across Cambridge University Hospitals with personnel issues. They also provide a comprehensive HR service to all R&D employees. In addition, they can help support with:
- Research Passport system, granting researchers access to the Trust via a Letter of Access or Honorary Research Contract, and answering all queries regarding this process.
- Providing expert advice and support on employee relations issues, organisational change, workforce planning and HR strategy.
- Providing support to employees and managers regarding CUH policies and procedures, e.g. sickness and attendance, grievance and dignity at work, conduct and performance, annual leave, appraisals and job evaluations.
The HR team is not responsible for approving research projects or study amendments. This is done by the Research Governance team:
