Nurse, Midwife and Allied Health Professional Research Fellowships
Addenbrooke’s Charitable Trust (ACT) and the National Institute of Health Research (NIHR) Cambridge Biomedical Research Centre (BRC) invite applications for clinical research fellowships from Nurses, Midwives and Allied Health Professionals (NMAHP) at Cambridge University Hospitals and School of Clinical Medicine intending to apply for PhD and Post-Doctoral Fellowship Awards.
The fellowships will provide part-time to full-time salary support and a consumable/training allowance for up to one year to provide the time to develop a competitive doctoral or post-doctoral research fellowship application to the NIHR, HEE/NIHR Integrated Clinical Academic Pathway or equivalent charity or research council.
It is expected that successful candidates for 2017/18 will apply for nationally competitive research fellowships in 2019.
The Fellowship application is in 2 stages:
- Deadline for first stage applications is Friday 10 November 2017 at 12.00 noon, with interviews held the week of 20 November.
- Short-listed applicants will be interviewed by a sub-committee of the Research Advisory Committee in December.

Signed approval from the applicant’s line manager is essential.
