An informative session (online) on practical tools for ethnicity inclusion in health research. As a researcher and health practitioner, this event is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your approach to inclusive research.

What to expect

  • Training on the NIHR INCLUDE Ethnicity Framework with Professor Shaun Treweek.
  • Researchers share their experiences with inclusive research.
  • Question and answer session with the key speakers.

Speakers:

  • Prof Shaun Treweek, Health Services Research Unit, University of Aberdeen
  • Dr Amanda Stranks , PPI/E and Communications Lead, NIHR Cambridge BRC
  • Dr Rhys Grant, Public Engagement & Science Communication Manager, Department of Oncology, University of Cambridge will talk about the DEMO project
  • Dr Tracy Cripps, Senior R&D Project Lead at Cambridge University Hospitals and also vice-chair of the Trust’s BAME (Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic)
