Many common physical and mental health conditions first appear in infancy and childhood, adversely affecting the experiences and future outcomes for children and young people. However, the early years can also provide a crucial window for diagnosis, early treatment and other interventions that can improve outcomes and help prevent or reduce the impact of health conditions.
Discover the latest breakthroughs in translational research for infants, children and young people from local researchers including: Dr Anna Moore Winter, Assistant Professor in Child Psychiatry, University of Cambridge and Dr. Kate Baker, Assistant Professor of Clinical Genetics, Department of Pathology, Cambridge University Hospitals and Chenqu Suo, NIHR clinical lecturer in Paediatrics at University of Cambridge with a clinical subspecialty interest in paediatric rheumatology.
Talks run either in the afternoon (4-5pm) or evening (6-7pm) with the opportunity to chat with our researchers about their work and view the posters on display in between talks.
