A summer of Patient and Public Involvement

What an amazing summer!

From county shows to local festivals, over the last few months our Patient and Public Involvement team have been out and about across East Anglia, meeting members of the public and showcasing some of our research to local communities.

Patient and Public Involvement (PPI) is an important part of what we do. It helps ensure our research is relevant, meaningful and meets the needs of patients.

The summer of 2026 gave the team lots of opportunities to speak to members of the public about health research, showcase some of the amazing work we do here in the region and highlight how research can make a real difference to healthcare.

The team were also promoting their Patient and Public Involvement panel and were able to recruit new members who are interested in getting involved, sharing their experiences and helping shape future health research.

Watch the short video below to see where the team have been and some of our favourite moments from the summer.
